What it's about:

Personal tales from the Parks - funny stories, magical moments, tales of tourist horror... whatever strikes your fancy, as long as it's true.

If you've never been but have at least talked about going or are addicted to shows about Disney Parks and have an interesting story or two about those experiences, those will be welcome as well.


How to Participate:

1. Write up your story. There's no limit on length. Please nothing too mature. For example, congratulations if you spent your honeymoon at Disney, but we'd rather not hear about what went on in the bedroom, if you catch my drift.

2. Either post your story to your gallery or scraps and note the club, or if you'd rather not post your story to your own site, send your story to the club by note and I will post it to our gallery here. If you choose the latter and would like a preview image, please e-mail your story and the file to use to disney.parkhoppers@gmail.com

3. If you happen to have a nice picture of your tale, or would like to write it up in comic form, the Tale may be given in the deviation's description rather than as a literature deviation.

4. Although there is no upper limit on length, your tale should be at least a couple of paragraphs long. No tales that sound like, "There was this one time at Disney, I got this piece of popcorn stuck up my nose lol." and that's all it is. Your tale should read as a story and be grammatically correct. NO CHATSPEAK.

5. Poetry is welcome too, as long as it tells a true tale.

6. If your story is posted to your gallery, please remember to say in your note whether you'd like to add it to the gallery here or not.


What you get for Participating:

Everyone will be given one point for participation, and at the end, we'll hold a drawing and award the winner 5 more points. (The drawing winner will earn a total of 6 points, and everyone else will earn one point, no matter how many stories they share.) For the drawing, though, your name will be entered for each story you contribute. Confused by what all this talk of points is? Read all about them here: [link] .
