I loved reading everyone's stories for our first project (and remember, you can always write a story for the gallery here if you want ), but now it's time to move on to our next project.




This one was brought up by =AladdinsFan (I think), and it sounded like a lot of fun, so here it is!

The Rules

a. You can make any kind of souvenir; you can even invent one if you like. The idea is to design something that you'd like to buy on your next trip.

b. Any type of art is welcome. Drawn schematics are fine - you don't have to actually make the souvenir. You can if you want, though.

c. All work must be your own or use legitimate stock found on dA. Google images are not legitimate stock. I will report anything that breaks copyright laws as art theft.

d. All entries must be new as of August 2nd, 2008.

e. You may focus your work on Disney characters if you like - there does not have to be a specific park element in your souvenir, as long as it's clear it's a souvenir or design.

f. Due Date January 31st.

g. Everyone who participates will earn one point. One person chosen randomly will be awarded an additional 5 points. You may enter as many times as you like - you will not receive multiple points for multiple entries, but you will increase your chances at the bonus 5 points.

h. Please let us know if you require a special resource and we'll see what we can do. Postcards should be cropped to 4x6 inches (a 2:3 ratio), magic towels are square, t-shirts typically have a front and back design, frames generally conform to the most popular sizes (5x7, 8x10), plushies have a stamp of the park where it was sold on one foot, snowglobes usually have an inner and outer set of figures, pressed penny designs are elliptical, buttons are round, pins are usually square-ish, posters are often 24x36 inches, etc.
