So =wolf-grrl and I were talking about this, of course we both think our own opinion is right.

She lives down the street from Disneyland, and it mocks her every day because she can't afford to get a pass. I live in Ohio and have no idea when I'll be able to go again. :iconnoohioplz:

So which is worse? Or is the simple fact that neither can go equally heinous? :XD:

Living far away is definitely worse. If you live close, at least you can walk through the spillover magic.

Living far, far away is worse. Even if you can't afford the pass now but live close at least you have hope that you might be able to save up and go in your lifetime. Even if I did save up for the pass, I've still got to get there and find a place to stay, eat and all that stuff. :cries:

Gee, now I'm all depressed. :tears:

I wish I had zillions of dollars then I could take all my friends.

I'm not sure what our last trip ended up being, but I think it must have been around $3500 for the three of us for 9 days with food and souvenirs included. If you go in a small group where you can split the hotel cost (rather than going by yourself), 8-10 days would be about $1000 altogether, unless you really want to splurge on sit down meals and lots of souvenirs. Mom and I can eat cheap, let me tell you. (Like, you can order a bun + cheese, which is something outrageously cheap like $1.50, then head over to the topping bar and load up to make a nice big sammich.)

There's lots of tricks to spending less, but it is still pricey, no matter what.
